Ever wondered what a typical day looks like for your little one at Twinnie Nursery? Every day is thoughtfully designed to provide a balance of fun, learning, creativity, and rest, helping each child thrive in a nurturing and engaging environment.
We begin the day with a warm welcome and free-play sessions that allow children to choose from a range of stimulating activities—building blocks, puzzles, storybooks, and creative corners. This helps them ease into the day while encouraging independence and decision-making.
Mid-morning, we move on to focused group activities based on the EYFS curriculum. This may include early literacy tasks, basic numeracy games, singing, dancing, or themed projects. Our learning is always hands-on and play-based, ensuring it’s fun, interactive, and developmentally appropriate.
Outdoor play is a much-loved part of the day. Children have the chance to explore nature, run, climb, dig, or ride trikes in our secure outdoor area. Being outside helps with gross motor development and offers endless opportunities for discovery and imaginative play.
We provide healthy snacks and meals throughout the day, and rest time is offered when needed to help children recharge. The afternoon may involve storytime, quiet activities, or another round of creative play.
