Help your child settle into nursery
Practical tips to help your baby or toddler settle happily into Twinnie Day Nursery in Belvedere or Greenwich.
Start with short visits
Before your child's first full day, we invite you to visit together. Parents are encouraged to stay for the first session or two, and children can attend for brief periods at first, gradually building up to a full session.
Bring something familiar
A favourite comforter, blanket or soft toy gives your little one a reassuring link with home while they get to know new faces and rooms.
Keep goodbyes calm and confident
A short, warm and consistent goodbye routine helps children feel secure. Your child's key person will be there to welcome them and help them into the day's activities.
Stay in touch
We share updates with parents through the Famly app, so you can see how your child is getting on and talk to their key person about anything that worries you.
